VAWAA is a global network of master artisans offering immersive, creative experiences to travelers from all over the world. Gonçalo, founder of Atelier Encaixe, is now part of this unique group of artists and craftspeople, proudly representing Portugal and traditional woodworking at its most authentic.

From now on, it’s possible to book 4-day creative stays directly with us, here in the peaceful village of Quebradas, where participants will dive into:

• traditional joinery techniques,

• handmade furniture restoration,

• preparation of natural waxes and glues,

• and the calm, grounded rhythm of rural life.
