Hands-On Learning in a Real Craft Workshop in Rural Portugal
In 2025, Atelier Encaixe welcomed several European students through the Erasmus+ programme, offering hands-on internships in a real carpentry, furniture conservation and restoration workshop located in a small Portuguese village.
Our atelier is based in a rural setting, providing students with a different and authentic experience of Portuguese culture, far from large cities. This environment allows focus, close contact with the local community and a deeper connection to traditional craftsmanship.
